Genova hosts a public event on the annual State of the European Union speech

On Wednesday 10 September, at 9 a.m., the Sala Chierici of the Berio Library, located in Via del Seminario 16, will host a public event dedicated to the annual State of the European Union speech, delivered by the President of the European Commission.

The initiative, promoted by the Europe Direct Centre of the Municipality of Genova, aims to stimulate the debate on European issues and to promote greater awareness among citizens about EU policies. Europe Direct is a network of local information points that works to bring the European Union closer to citizens through information, public events and outreach activities.

The event will be attended by experts and institutional representatives, including the Councillor for European Projects of the Municipality of Genova - Tiziana Beghin, who will offer reflections on the role of Italy and European citizens in common challenges.

The event is a valuable opportunity for those who live, work or study in the European Union, offering an open and inclusive forum for discussion on issues that closely affect everyday life.
