SMARTcup Plus Liguria 2025 Call Opens to Support Innovative Startups and SMEs.

The SMARTcup Plus Liguria 2025 call is now open. This initiative, promoted by the Liguria Region and managed by FI.L.S.E. S.p.A., aims to support innovative startups and SMEs that have demonstrated tangible results in the region. Applications must be submitted via the dedicated online form by October 20, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

Eligible participants include:

• Innovative startups/SMEs that have taken part in a previous edition of SMARTcup Liguria and have an operational base in Liguria;
• Innovative startups/SMEs registered in the dedicated national registry and with an operational base in Liguria;
• Innovative startups/SMEs that have participated in or were established following participation in a regional Start Cup within the PNICube network, and that have (or intend to open) an operational base in Liguria;
• Innovative startups/SMEs that have benefited from services provided by SMARTcup Liguria partners and that have – or intend to open – an operational base in Liguria.

The initiative has three main goals:

1. To give visibility to innovative companies that have achieved significant economic and qualitative results in their early years;
2. To foster the growth of Liguria’s innovation ecosystem by facilitating connections between companies, institutions, and strategic partners;
3. To promote internationalization and access to new markets and collaborations.

A €5,000 grant is up for grabs, provided by Liguria International, to be used specifically for internationalization initiatives.
