The City of Genova at the Utopian Hours Festival: European Dialogues on Cities and Living

On Friday, October 17, as part of the international festival Utopian Hours held in Turin, the  Councillor Tiziana Beghin and the Director of the Territorial Marketing Department, Gabriele Andreetta took part in several discussions focused on city making and urban transformation.

Among the panels attended, particular emphasis was given to the one dedicated to the theme of affordable housing, which featured the participation of administrators and professionals from various European cities. The discussion provided an opportunity to explore international approaches and solutions to the challenges of urban living.

The Municipality of Genoa also took part in the roundtable organized by the city of Brescia, the guest of honor at the 2025 edition of the festival. The event, titled “Brescia: A Productive and Desirable City”, brought together local administrators and representatives from other Italian cities, including Genoa, in a dialogue on urban development strategies and territorial promotion.

Throughout the day, Director Andreetta and Councillor Beghin shared Genoa’s experience in territorial marketing, enhancement of local networks, and European projects, highlighting the city’s role in the national landscape of urban regeneration.
