The third ‘Anello del Benessere’ inaugurated in Genova Pra'

On Friday, 14 November, approximately 165 children from the Istituto Comprensivo Pra' took part in the inaugural walk along a part of the Ponente itinerary of the “Gli Anelli del Benessere” (The Rings of Wellbeing) project, promoted by the Place Marketing Department of the Municipality of Genova. The route crosses the Pra' district of Genova, then enters Achille Dapelo Park and reaches Via Fusinato, the commercial heart of the district.

The route is enriched by special signage and inclusion in the Komoot app, which guide visitors along the route and provide technical information for tackling the walk, as well as historical and artistic-cultural information on the main points of interest along the itinerary.

During the walk, there were numerous stories about the history of the neighbourhood, revealing interesting facts about the historic villas and squares that characterise Pra'. The official inauguration took place at the Oratorio della Parrocchia di N.S. Soccorso, in Via Don Federico Pironi, near Piazza Sciesa, the second stop on the route.

In the audience, institutional figures and experts from the medical and sports sectors emphasised the importance of outdoor physical activity for cardio-metabolic health and the prevention of eating disorders, both in children and adults, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.

The event concluded with a buffet offered by the neighbourhood CIV and Il Pesto di Pra’, providing an opportunity to strengthen the sense of community and promote local excellence.
